I was going to wait to post this topic until I had taken some pics
of signs that I like, but I had to go ahead and share this one. My
daughter took this pic today, in the park.

It's too easy to find funny ones on the web. Try to keep your submissions to pics you've actually taken yourself.

I've often wondered what exactly he's saving for. A cool DVD player, maybe?

I'm
taking the camera out tomorrow, to get a couple of shots of signs
around town, that target rednecks. Hopefully it won't be raining.
On our local route 666, they had to change the numbers on the sign to words, because people kept stealing them.

Gun Club Road? Given where you live, I shouldn't be shocked.

A friend at UVa once told me they needed to come up with custom bolts for those to prevent theft. Is that true?

i don't have a pic of it but once while driving on a state road through tennessee, i saw a store with a sign that read "appliances, now in 3d"
my thought was, "aren't all appliances already in 3d?"

Here's the really weird part. There's a gun club on that road. I mean, what are the odds? They name a road "Gun Club Road", and it actually HAS a gun club on it!
A friend at UVa once told me they needed to come up with custom bolts for those to prevent theft. Is that true?
They did use special bolts on the old sign, but people would just saw the top of the pole off and take the whole thing.

There's going to be some major work on a bridge near my house starting next week. They put up all these portable programable signs to inform people. Last weekend, a prankster took advantage of the fact that they didn't lock the control box.
