Rememeber old Channel 11 video game ??

Do any of you remember the call in video game you could play on WPIX, channel 11 in NY ??
You would call up and if you got on they would show you a video game on the telvesion.
They were actually Intellivision games and you would have to say " Pix " when you wanted it to perform the action ( a pass in football, shhot in a Space Invaders-type, etc .. ) and you won something if you had the highest score.
It would come on between the different after school cartoons.
I dont know what made me think of this, but I did.
Hope it wasnt a hallucination.

I remember those games, they were great!, I always wondered if there was a real person playing the game for you and just hitting the singel action button. I actually won a t-shirt from that. I think I still have it, but it's probally encrusted with years of seamen under my bed in a ball
