They sounded all the sirens and people started running outside - they left us out there for 30min, then herded us back inside. They haven't told us what it was for yet but I'm scared shitless :(

I work for a large credit card company's world headquarters in... Our building has about 3,000 people in it. I'm very nervous becuase we're such a large global company. I'm also nervous right now becuase they haven't told us why we were evacuated - the sirens were blaring and someone was announcing that it wasn't a drill. It really sucks to be afraid to go to work.

That's cool. I didn't want the name, just the location. Someone at NBC in Manhattan has just tested positive for anthrax, that's why I wanted to know.

Apparently the anthrax that infected the NBC employee is of the agricultural variety, and infected the skin only. It is not believed to be terrorist related, or to be that serious of a health risk.

I am still going tonight. Screw those bastards.
