View Full Version : How I Went Back In Time

Here's a quick story...
So the other day I didn't get to bed till about 5am, and sometime while I was sleeping my alarm went off and I must have turned it off. I had to leave for class at noon, but when I eventually woke up, it was already 2pm, and I had missed class.
So I shower and start reading some stuff for class. I get a phone call from a friend who asks me whether I'm going to class or not. I of course say, I missed class already, since it's already 3pm.
But it turns out it was actually 12pm! Somehow during the night I had changed the time on my clock and put it 3 hours ahead. So even though I didn't really go back in time, it sort of felt like I did.
Isn't that just super?

Alarm clocks are so unstable when your half-asleep.
I push all sorts of buttons and not just the alarm, sometimes I wake up and my TV is on, or my DVD player.
Sometimes I wake up at night and think their on, so I get the remote and press power, but that's really turning it on since it wasn't on in the first place.
I'm weird.

WWFallon, I'm the exact same way! I'm so utterly disoriented when I first wake up that I don't know what's going on. I've even been known to unplug my stereo thinking that its my alarm clock. I think we need professional help!

Sometimes I unplug my plug-in and it's not even near my bed.
Also I might wake up with no sheet because I threw it in the hall (and I sleep w/ my door shut).

I also will lose my sheet and/or pillows, throwing them in random places while I'm sleep. I usually only do that when I sleep alone though. When I'm with someone, I don't toss and turn as much.

One time ... a Britney Spears' song woke me up and I actually humped my clock into snooze mode

My wife used to get furious at me for constantly sticking my feet on her ass and pushing her out of bed while I was sound asleep-I'm still not sure if she was telling the truth or just falling out of bed on her own!

One time when I was snoozing with a g/f, I got all turned around, and accidently kicked her in the face while she was sleeping...she woke up and hit me, and I didn't know what happened!
