Japanese Giant Hornet

<p>I caught the end of this show about bugs on National Geographic last night and one of them was a giant Japanese hornet.</p><p>These things are 2 inches long and with wingspan can be up tp 3 inches long.</p><p>30 of them can wipe out an entire hive ( 30,000 of them ) of honey bees in a few hours.</p><p>The honey bees have come up with a nice little payback though.</p><p>Pretty interesting.</p><p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_giant_hornet">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_giant_hornet</a></p>
