It probably inserted something in the registry
that regenerates the program on every boot up. Ad-Aware can usually get
rid of it. If you already tried that, well, I know it is possible to
get rid of those things but I wouldn't know how. You'd have to research
about the file, find out where the line is in the registry, and
manually remove it.

And if you have no idea what I just said, you may just have to re-install Windows.

The file might be there. Open the folder where it
says the file is. Click the tools menu, then select folder options.
Then click the view tab. Make sure the entry that says "Show hidden
files and folders" is toggled. Then click OK. If it's still not there,
you got me stumped.
[color=navy]Whoa. Be careful. What's the folder name? Some of
them could be Windows system files. You don't want to delete them. If
it's not somewhere in the Windows directory you should be
fine.
Some of them looked pretty suspicious because they had dollar signs in the titles...and the path was exactly the one that Norton said it was...I dont think i did anything dangerous....I checked the dates on some of them and they date back to the day where I swore off of P2P networking forever...

Some of the Windows hidden system files do have
$. I think it's all uninstall information. Won't make Windows break,
but you won't be able to uninstall anything through the Add/Remove
Program option in Control Panel.

If you didn't delete anything in the Windows folder you should be safe. If you reboot successfully, you're safe.

That H-Key stuff Ad-Aware should be able to get rid
of by itself. If it doesn't, you're not looking for a file, you are
looking for a registry listing. And I wouldn't reccomend you go messing
with that, you could seriously fuck up Windows if you don't know
exactly what you're doing.

Sounds like you need Spy Sweeper. The best I've seen.

Does reg swep, mem sweep, and total file sweep.

Takes me about 2 hours to comlete, but I am now squeeky clean. If you keep it running in the BG, it will catch spyware before it happens. Especially Ceres and Aurora. Both nasty bastards.

LimeWire search Spy Sweeper. NOW!!

Sometimes its best to use multiple spyware
programs. I use Ad Aware and Spybot: Search and Destroy. That combo has
worked for me.

Norton does shit for adware. You need Spysweeper.

Go to the webroot site and download the free trial.

http://www.webroot.com

I've heard good things about Hijack This. The only thing is you still have to be careful about removing stuff you need. You can find it (and read about it) at Download.com.

Thought I would bring this up just out of curiosity...

I'm trying to aviod taking up so much space on my C Drive, so is there anyway I can take the music I have on there off of there, and still be able to keep it on my Ipod when i connect it?

There's probably a better way to phrase that...

The music on your iPod is written on its hard
drive. If you delete your music on your hard drive, but leave it listed
in your iTunes library, the songs won't be removed when you update your
iPod. To do that all you have to do is delete the files. When you start
iTunes after you do that, it will alert you saying it can't find the
files, and ask you to find it. You can just cancel out of that.

There
are programs that will then allow you to copy the files off the iPod.
I'll try finding one. The only problem with this is that the iPod isn't
that reliable. If something goes wrong with the iPod, and you don't
have a backup on your hard drive, it's all gone.

I wouldn't reccomend doing it, but it is possible.
