Veteran hitmakers perform and compete! Based on the popular UK show of the same name, "Hit Me Baby One More Time" tracks down hitmakers from the past and they take the stage in a new competition in which you're the judge! Former Top Ten artists return to perform their trademark hit song along with one of today's current hits. At the end of the night, the live audience votes for their favorites

Loverboy?

The Knack?

and A Flock of Seagulls?

I'm there.
Tiffany definitely deserved to win this one. I have to admit, I was really surprised at how well her voice has held up over the years. It's actually better now than when she was a teen.

Too bad the same couldn't be said for her body though. She has great tits, as was seen in her Playboy issue, but she has clearly gained considerable weight since then.

I can't believe that AMERICAN IDOL, which is basically Karaoke, has a real live band that is actually playing but THIS crappy show uses tracks. The only thing that is live is the lead vocal mic! Why create a show about live music if the music isn't gonna be live?

Another wasted television opportunity wasted. Those bastards!

I think the biggest result from this show will lead to two things.

1) More people will correctly answer the trivia question: Who sang Jenny (867-5309)?

2) More people with that phone number will have more fun with it.

Last night's wasn't as good as the 1st. At least in the 1st episode, a few of them actually sounded good.

Last night, aside from The Knack doing My Sharona which was almost dead on, the rest of the performers sucked. Vanilla Ice was kinda funny though mainly because he had fun with it and didn't take his "past life" seriously.

I couldn't hear who was going to be on next week because my wife decided to start yapping right at that moment, but I didn't recognize a single face they put up on screen.

I think this show might be better and have more purpose if they brought back the winners of each week for a finale. Sure, the whole charity thing is a good idea, but most people like to watch competitions, not some goodwill work.

Haddaway and Tommy Tutone were pretty good on thier original songs. Haddaway? Yup. They collectivley sucked ass on the covers. NBC has really scrapped the bottom of the barrel of VH1's Band Reunited.

I caught a little bit of the show and Arrested Development sounded pretty good. Tiffany was ok is she pregnant or just had a baby. I heard here say something about a kid she should not have worn such tight clothing.

Jesus Christ, how the hell did Irene Cara win. She was downright awful! Cameo or Wang Chung were the best this week.

As for Tiffany, I meant to post these earlier. She's still pretty, but too bad her body doesn't look like this anymore.

Tiffany Playboy 1 (http://www.madtech.cx/~madeddie/images/mooievrouwen/Nikki/Tiffany%20Playboy%20April%202002%20Page%201.jpg)

Tiffany Playboy 2 (http://www.madtech.cx/~madeddie/images/mooievrouwen/Nikki/Tiffany%20Playboy%20April%202002%20Page%202.jpg)

Tiffany Playboy 3 (http://www.madtech.cx/~madeddie/images/mooievrouwen/Nikki/Tiffany%20Playboy%20April%202002%20Page%203.jpg)

Tiffany Playboy 4 (http://www.madtech.cx/~madeddie/images/mooievrouwen/Nikki/Tiffany%20Playboy%20April%202002%20Page%204.jpg)

Tiffany Playboy 5 (http://www.madtech.cx/~madeddie/images/mooievrouwen/Nikki/Tiffany%20Playboy%20April%202002%20Page%205.jpg)

I think it's safe to assume these are NSFW.

I thought "Flashdance" was pretty good. It DEFINITELY got the best crowd response. Her 2nd song was weak but, at that point...she was already a lock to win.

If I were in Wang Chung (which, thankfully....I am not) I would've played "Dance Hall Days". It was a bigger hit and it's just a better song than that piece o' shite 2nd single. Boo.

Jesus Christ, so much for the previews! They didn't bring back all the winners like they said and to top it all off this was the worst week of them all. I had high hopes for this show back in the beginning, but now I hope they don't bring it back. What a joke.

Speaking of jokes, if they do bring it back, they should rename the show Let's All Vote For The Black Artist Even If They Sucked. Every week someone black won (including Vanilla Ice). Don't get me wrong, that isn't meant to be a racist comment. Hell, 2 of the 5 weeks I believe the best artist was black (CeCe Peniston in Week 1 and Shannon in Week 5). Yet absolute crap acts like Arrested Development, Irene Cara, & PM Dawn won. What a joke!

Speaking of PM Dawn, I couldn't believe it when they showed they are from my town of Howell, NJ. That was kinda cool.
