Monitor Problems

I started my computer (winxp) normaly this morning and when it loaded windows it started to look f'd up and the only colors option I had was 4bits. Now I'm using ME and the monitor is fine, but I want to go back to XP. Any ideas how to fix this?

You can try and re-install the video driver on the XP box. Sounds like something may have happened with the drivers. Check to make sure its not the generic driver.

<p>My sister lost the XP disc. I do like how ME runs, it's smoother than XP.</p><p>The
reason I have both on my PC is because I installed XP on the wrong
drive, so when my PC boots up I get the choice between XP or ME. The
only thing that sucks is I don't have the Admin password to ME (if
anybody could help me with that, it'd be great) so I can't access my
drive that has a couple programs I want to use.<br />
