I went in June to see a Toronto Phantoms game against the Dragons.

I love Canada. The Air Canada Centre is like a cathedral. I actually got lost trying to find the press box.

The people there are very nice, but their accents piss me off. It's a melding of British & American accents topped off with a little bit of a French accent. It all makes for something that's impossible to understand.

I was lucky enough to rent a Ford Explorer for only $2 extra when they didn't have the mid-size I requested. That in itself made for a great trip. ***Anyone who thinks this particular SUV is a gas-guzzler needs a lobotomy. I got by an entire weekend without the needle even leaving the "F" for Full***

Seriously, after the attacks I saw a Canadian memorial service in Ottawa and there were people as far as the eye could see. Easily 15,000 mourning for America.
