Back in the late 70's we had WPIX-FM, which was an incredible station. They mixed punk, oldies, anything that rocked. Sadly, the ratings declined and it's now that crappy CD 101.
Anybody remember PIX?

PIX was the only place to hear The dolls, Stooges, and Ramones!
Wasn't Meg Griffin on that station?

Meg Griffin was a dj on that station. It was great. It was the first station I heard play Psycho Killer by the talking heads beside college radio.

In a perfect world they would bring that format back, with R&F doing Drive Time.

I remember PIX and Meg Griffen. Those were the days of radio before the narrow superficial split of formats. NEW also was great as well as 99X. Heckler that would be a great format you suggested PIX music with RnF.
you have two choices: Castration or a one way ticket to New York
