HELL NO! I stopped wathcing a lot of the TV I used to, and I find myself MORE PISSED THAN EVER!!!!
I think Radio is making me Violent!
But serioulsy, I don't think that violence in media is that big a deal. And if you do, then move to Pennsylvania with the Amish. The only thing cool about the Amish is that they wear a lot of BLACK! EVIL!!!!!

I think it has a small affect, just as everything in a person's life has a small affect. Making it the huge cause it has become is going too far.

Sundoggy's right. It's when you can't control your reaction to the violence present in the media, then maybe YOU have a problem. Society is always ready to blame someone else for it's problems-It's about time that we took responsiblity for our own actions and emotions!

We live in a culture where people seek to avoid responsibility for their own actions.
Although the environment certainly has some impact, it's not Doom or Maralyn Manson or The Church of the Poisoned Mind, etc, that makes people commit acts of violence.
Ultimately it boils down to the individual and the choices he or she makes.
I believe, that a person who wants to hurt others will do it regardless of their environment.
It would make a fantastic experiment, but ethics of course prohibit it.

HordeKing,
Never thought I would agree with you but you took the words right out of my mouth.
Too often, I hear, Oh, he made me do it, or, it isn't MY fault...for God's sake, I would just like to hear one time"I'm sorry,it's my fault{"
