Dennis Miller Cancelled

<p><font face="Century gothic" color="Navy"><font size="2">That show stunk. Badly. Dennis Miller and
Bill Maher have doen a trading places in my view. I used to hate Maher
and used to find Miller's HBO show hilarious. Now I can't stand Miller
(His HBO special from a year or two ago was the worst I've seen) and I
love Maher's new HBO show. I can even stand Maher's huge, &quot;I'm right
and not only is everyone else wrong, they're morons&quot; attitude, and his
occasional rants about the international corn syrup conspiracy.
Weird.</font></font></p><p><font face="Century gothic" color="Navy"><font size="2">EDIT:
Oh yeah, Conan O'Brien repeats on CNBC at 7:00 will disappear
eventually too. That sucks, unless Comedy Central can get them back.<br />

<p>He's really funny if you actually GET the reference, which for most
people (including me) is rare. You need to have a Ivy League education
and an interest in the Arts to get alot of it.</p><p>The show did suck,
and its a shame. He's really an interesting guy. Not some cookie cutter
Conservative like some people want to make him out to be. Pro Gay
rights, libertarian on issues like Abortion, Drugs, etc. <br />
</p><p>Plus he has a amazingly diverse set of interests, and is well
spoken and funny in most of them. He's an odd mix. Too smartass for PBS,
too smart for Network TV. </p><p> </p>

<p>Yay!</p><p>Hideous show. </p><p>He was on Jon Stewart about a month
ago, and it was the oddest interview; it was two people going in two
very directions in their careers. Stewart did everything to prop Dennis
Miller up, and you could just tell that MIller was green with envy.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

I like Miller as&nbsp;a comic, and I used to like his HBO shows, but his CNBC show just sucked ass. From the start with that fucking chimp to the whole setup of the show it was just awful. I tried to like it, but it just never appealed to me. I also agree, his last HBO special was absolutely dreadful. Now's he's got more time for NetZero commercials.

I saw Dennis Miller live back in college.&nbsp; Somewhere in the middle
of the show the funny went away and it was just him ranting.&nbsp;
Fucking awful.&nbsp; Haven't liked him since then.<br />
