I remember one of the last weeks of them in NYC, my cousin and I were up at the studio with a bunch of other R&F fans.  We brought some OJ and vodka and made everyone some drinks. I also brought Ron some cigars and Fez some Oreos.  Then my cousin made the show dump out several times due to him being drunk and screaming things from the background out that got heard on the air.  After about a couple hours, my cousin puked in the bathroom at the studio and we were asked to leave..I also remember going to Bar 9 a couple times and hanging with some of the peeps from ths board, wish I could have doen that more, but my schedule sucked and only was able to get out to a Bar 9 thing a few times.  Ron and Fez were first class guys that deserve all the fame and fortune they get.good times by all

My favorite old school party was we were meeting at this bar  (I believe it was it was THE GAMES TRIPLE H's Birth Day at a Bar named Izzy)   and I read the day wrong and came a day early.  I was there and I was like what the hell no one came.  I wrote a nasty post and right after I got home (Drunk of course) then  I realized I went a day early.  I was mocked  like nuts and of course I went the next day and had an amazing time (got drunk again).  I believe it was it was THE GAMES TRIPLE H's Birth Day at a Bar named Izzy

This thread actually makes me kind of feel bad for you old posters who came back.  It shows that you're just lurking in the background.  The 1st mention of the "good old days" propts you to finally fucking say something.  Why weren't you CONTRIBUTING to the messageboard?  It might not have become a cesspool of shit if you'd have helped.  You just sat there and read it from time to time, probably so bored with the content that you were happy you didn't say anything anymore.  What the fuck is that?  Bullshit.  That's what that is.

im a long time lurker and lazy poster, but i miss the old gang too.from
listening to everyone on the radio or getting to see them at live
events it was a cool "cast of characters". even if i didnt get to know

i'm 95ynf tampa + wjrr orlando old school.  1984 onward. 
i don't know what year bennington joined ron diaz, but it wasn't too
long after that. 
after listening to rf current programs, here is what i can tell you.bennington
has lost a step.  he's not as fast.  he has that "old man"
slobberslur to his speech.  i attribute this to smokin da weed
after many years.  weed takes its toll mentally, cuts down the
mental edge.  maybe some alcohol, too. 
you shoulda heard him back when he was on his game.  fresh, hard hitting. 
fez is still almost full speed.  he's slowed down by bennington. i'll
still listen to current rf, but it's definately not the same
quality.  it's disappointing that, while listening, i have to
remember what once was.

I love the fact that Moe gives shit for people coming back to post. LOL  And we are labeled "lurkers".  Is that the Internet buzz word for people who don't post?  God I really have been gone awhile. I missed the Bar Crawls but most definately remember Karava's Place; who can forget the entire group of smokers going up those damned steps em masse every 15 mins, then out on the streets with the other pariahs? Last time there was something 'formal' there might have been when R+F showed up to see Mikey D's band; Hairy Elvis did stand-up, as did Mikey's keyboardist, who I believe quit shortly after. I was always kind of a lurker on the board, but all that lurking really helped me laugh through some dark times and for that I'll be forever grateful. This was my first peek back in a long time, but I'm sure I'll be back skulking in the shadows with greater regularity and I'll even try to contribute when the rare spark of wit,wisdom or whatever hits!

Seeing all the old posters reminds me of when I joined in May 2002
and was quite the avid listener of the show. Now there is no show in my
listening area, there are a few that have used me and wish me dead and
a few that I became really close with and still remember the fun times
we had together. Oddly enough though, I still feel new to the board
after all this time cause there were so many before me that were
staples. But, I do still check here and read the goings on here every
single day. This board and above all Ron and Fez have become such a
part of my life I can't begin to think of a day without it. I mostly
lurk now and again and don't draw as much R & F stuff as I used to
but damn if that R & F Cartoon passion isn't burning right now.
Just sucks without the show to be listening to to inspire me.

OK, I just remembered the stupid shit that went down in this thread, and I started to feel bad that you old skool posters seemed to stop talking about your reunion when I started to joke I would crash it.Just for the record, I would not do this, so please feel free to continue to plan whatever the fuck you want to.  I don't have the most exciting life on the planet, but I can ALWAYS be somewhere and doing something, and one place I would NOT go is a place I wasn't welcome or wanted.  That is also why you won't have to worry if you're going to the softball games.  Enjoy, Moe isn't that big a dick.  So anyway, this thread seems dead, but I just had that to say.Death Metal OUT!
