For the longest time I had my old, outdated 20" CRT monitor set at 800x600 pixels. I recently bought a new 19" LCD and it suggests setting it at 1280x1084 pixels. The clarity is beautiful, but it is so small. Unfortunately, this is the only resolution I can find that allows for a clear screen. All the others make the text blurry.

Just curious what you all set your monitors at.

This 1280x1084 looks miniscule to me. I couldn't even imagine 1680x1050. I would need a magnifying glass or something.

Also, I have a pretty state of the art graphics card and even that doesn't go up that high.

It's an apple if that makes a diff. But that's what it says the resolution is in the display settings. It's my work monitor so I didn't set it up. Maybe this is why I'm going blind!
