<p>Times have changed, my friends. My 74 year old mother was
schooled in the days when the teacher could hit the students--and if
you told your mother that your teacher hit you? Your mother would
hit you, for making your teacher hit you.</p>

<p>When I was
a kid, if you got in trouble at achool you got detention or if you were
especially distasteful a suspension; and if you got in trouble?
Your parents would give you a smack.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It's no longer
PC to smack your kids. No if you can't control your kids and your
teacher can't control your kids, the police have to handcuff the lil'
darlins...and it makes the news.</p>
<p> </p>
