Fuck you Seaman's!

<p>I just bought a leather couch from Seaman's, along with a coffee table and 2 end tables. I live in a basement apartment, and I knew getting the couch in the house was going to be a problem. I told this to the sales person and he pointed out this couch. He told me that the back comes off with no problem. The guys delivering the&nbsp;couch will be able to take it off and put it back no problem. </p><p>So the couch gets here, and guess what? The back isnt easily removed. So they take the couch back and I go back to Seaman's. I tell them that the back of the couch doesnt come off and that I had to refuse the delivery. The sales person never apologizes and just says &quot;Well pick another one out and we'll change the order.&quot; No, the other ones suck! I want the one I bought because it's PERFECT! So the guy says he has a guy that can come and remove the back of the couch I bought and put it back together. He also gives me $50 off the couch (big fucking deal). Anyway I make an appointment for the redelivery of the couch and call up this sofa guy. Turns out he wants $150. So I call up Seamens and talk to a manager&nbsp;to let&nbsp;him know that this guy they recommend is charging me $150 and that I would like $150 off my bill. The guy is rude as hell on the phone with me and says &quot;$50 is all you're getting off the couch&quot; then hangs up on me! Mother fucker!</p><p>So then the couch gets to my house and I call the sofaman to come get this thing into my house. He gets there and looks at the couch and says &quot;I didnt know this had 2 roll away recliners on it. I'm going to need to charge you $200.&quot; Mother Fucker! I told him on the phone EXACTLY what kind of couch it was and what it had you asshole! But I just told him to get it in the house. The whole time I was waiting for him to get the couch back together because I wanted to smack this smelly fuck in the back of the head with a baseball bat.</p><p>I'm going to write Seaman's and see if anything will be done about it. I wouldnt care as much if the sales person himself told me that this couch wouldnt be a problem to get into my house. Whatever, Fuck you Seaman's!</p>

You may not care, but I had a sectional that on one piece had 2 recliners with that arm rest between thewm and a pull out bed on the other half.&nbsp; Eacch piece is about 6 inches shorter than the doorway is in hieght.&nbsp; I also have a basement apt and my only entrance is down the stair in the backyard.&nbsp; obviously thers no space outside the door as the staiway up and down is only about...I dunno, 3 feet wide or so.&nbsp; SO what I did way put that motherfucker on a handtruck and got it down the stairs and eventually got the couch on the flat surface standing straight up and wiggled the hardtruck out from underneath which is no easy chore considering theres no extra room in that little doorway area out there.&nbsp; The next step in this way to get myself into my place with the couch in my way.&nbsp; I stuck one foot under the couch and gripped the (1) underneath/front portion with my right hand and (2) top of the backrest with my left and began to pivit.&nbsp; Once I spun it I gained entrance to the interior and continued to pull the backrest making sure as it was being rotated on the inside of the doorway.&nbsp; once the top of the backrest was overlapping the rightside of my doorjam I noticed the back/bottom portion now had proper clearance on the left side of thedoor and I began to pull the couch straight in.&nbsp; Then it was inside.&nbsp; The bottom line here is if you want shit done right...and free you do it yourself.&nbsp;
