The Dan Whitley Band

<p>Hi Board Members,</p><p>I have been given &quot;mod permission&quot; to plug a band who will be playing the Stone Pony this Wednesday. They are scheduled to go on approx 9pm.</p><p>The bands name is &quot;The Dan Whitley Band&quot; and there are three members. The bass player Zack Leffand is a good friend and has been my guitar teacher for approx 12 years now. He is actually a lead guitarist but switched to bass to be in&nbsp;this band. He plays with a pick and plays bass like a lead guitar. </p><p>Dan Whitley is a very talented songwriter/vocalist/guitarist and the music is very unique, as a matter of fact&nbsp;it's so unique that i'm not sure how to categorize the music but all i can say is i thoroughly enjoy it each time i hear it. It's got a hard edge&nbsp;and melodic,&nbsp;his guitar playing harmonizes with his vocals and it sounds great...</p><p>I just got an okay to have the night off so i'll be attending. </p><p>FYI: Dan has an older brother Chris who seems to be doing well. He's signed with Sony and has approx 7 albums out.&nbsp;</p><p>Note: Zack also plays lead guitar for a band every Thursday night at JJ Biddings(?) in Woodbridge.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>i just realized Snoogs invited me to AC on Wed evening and I said I had to work...&nbsp; And i didn't realize i was taking off til yesterday, Sorry Snoogs&nbsp;&nbsp; I'm just not that much of a gambler and i try to stay away from AC... but the Music is something I enjoy alot</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Sounds good, I live in Ocean Grove, so I think I might just walk on down.&nbsp; I haven't seen a show at the Pony yet.
