Don & Mike Tower Records spots

<p>What is the deal with those horribly awkward Tower Records spots that Don &amp; Mike have been doing lately?&nbsp; They are mis-pronouncing some titles of movies and/or bands but, they are obviously doing it on purpose. (right?)</p><p>What is going on with them and the cold read?&nbsp; Is it a bit?&nbsp; To me....it kinda sounds like they have beef with Tower and they are making the spots turn into one big joke.&nbsp; I don't listen to their show.&nbsp; Is this part of some new illiterate characters or something?&nbsp; </p>

They're using voices that they often use on the show. I think Tower must like the spots, because they've been doing strange reads for quite a while.
