Did you ever find a tire and roll it down a hill when you were a kid ?
Just to see what would happen?
Didnt it usually either fall over when it hit the curb, or else it ended up causing a kind of damage that you were not anticipating when you came up with the idea?

I think I rolled one once.  It hit the bottom of the hill, maybe stopped on a rock and fell over.  Then I wondered what I actually THOUGHT would happen and didn't want to drag the heavy thing back up the hill.

Standing at the bottom of a fairly steep dirt road, I watched as my friend rolled a tire in my direction.The tire began to pick up speed as it approached me. It also began to bounce. I tried to catch/stop it.
Did I mention it had the rim in it? 
It hit me square in the face, knocking me off me feet.
Nice move, dick.

I rolled a tractor tire once. Those things go forever, and bounce WAY high! The idea is to roll them down a hill, and not a street though. More things to make it bounce, and less chance of killing anyone.

When I was eight, I lived in Farmingville. Anyone from Long Island will tell you Farmingville is the most hilly town on L.I..
Anyhooo, we used to race our bikes around in circles at the bottom of a hill. Well, in true eight year old logic, we thought it would be more challenging when we had enough kids to have some of them at the top of the hill, you guessed it, rolling car tires down at us. Let me tell you something, you have not lived till you been knocked of your bike while racing by a tire rolled down a fifty foot hill.

i did that a few years ago but i made the mistake of puttin my hands inside the tire and all of the wires inside cut my hands up good. it was still fun to watch the tire hit my buddy at the end of the hill.

I once rolled a tire down a hill and it hit a woman in the face. I turned to my friend just looked at me and said "Oooooooooooohh! Did you see that, that tire hit that woman, in the, in the face!!"

There's a great Little Rascals with many tires rolling down a hill.  Something about tires rolling down a hill by themselves is really funny.  (Insert OK TERRIFIC here)
Back in the mid-seventies, we rolled a skateboard and a bicycle tire and rim down Yawpo ave in Oakland, NJ.  The hill was so long though that we never found out where they ended up.  We thought about my dad's bowling ball but never had the nutz to do it.  Great times, lallers.

I always wanted to roll the bowling ball down the hill.  I even wanted to take two bowling balls and put a broom stick into the holes and roll it down the hill, but I never did it.
And the Little Rascals episode is what spawned the idea in me as a kid.  Remember that car they made that had the boxing glove and the arm that popped out and punch someone?
My cousin gave me his old mini bike when I was 10 that had no motor on it and it didnt even have brakes!  I use to bring it to the top of a huge hill and ride down to the bottom and hold on for dear life.  Then I had to walk back up.

One of the guys I went to high school with had a steep, paved driveway and he wanted to see if he could stop a bowling ball with a football.
His brother is at the top of the driveway and rolls the bowling ball down the driveway.  He's at the bottom of the driveway holding the football against the ground.  The bowling ball hits the football, bounces up and knocks his front teeth out.

We would remove the two ends, get inside, and crawl. To a few 5 year olds, it made a nice battle tank.

Ever try rolling down a hill in a giant wire cable spool? I don't recomend it, by the way, we did that once. All I can say is, we lived... barely.
