This show is fairly twisted and messed up. And know that because I am laughing at it, it will be cancelled in no time flat. It's always the way.

So Headbanger's Ball comes on at 10. I turn on MTV2 to find this Wonder Showzen.

MTV plays little to no music videos anymore. It's all shows. BAD shows at that.

MTV2 was my little safe haven for videos. They apparently changed over their whole design of the channel and not only does it look terrible with the video title graphics and this two headed dog thing but MTV2 is becoming mostly shows now too. Did MTV have an overflow of crap that they needed to throw this garbage on MTV2 now? Does Music Television exist anymore besides FUSE?

Oh yeah, Wonder Showzen offended the hell out of me and it usually takes a lot to offend me. How the parents of those kids allow them to be on that show and spew forth that brand of shocking humor is beyond me.

MTV2 was great when it was M2. Then MTV bought out The Box network and made it MTV2 and started bleeding over their non-music shows. Guess once the only major "video-only" competition was axed, they didn't feel the need to do the same kind of programming.

Though they do still have the MTV/VH1 all-music channels on my digital cable system. Those are pretty cool...

i saw the show for the first time saturday night.
it was hilarious! actually made me laugh out loud. instantly becoming one of my new must see shows.

it's pretty offensive, but so were the simpsons, south park, and even archie bunker at one point. so who cares.
like the disclaimer says, just dont watch it with kids around.

hehehe wonder showzen is sooo fuckin funny. one part that stands out right now is when the kids were asked what is heaven and one girl said "ill never know" in a sad voice. i think its about time we get kids to say things they should be saying. hope it stays on longer than one season.

They show more videos, but it's the same ones over and over again.
VH1 Mega Hits is the best bet.

That's better Fluff.  Whine like a little girl about your Blink 182 videos somewhere else.  This is about a really funny show.  I'd say it's hard to compare to Robot Chicken which is hysterical, and in my opinion, just as funny as TV Funhouse which should be out on DVD if it isn't already.
That's why I even fucking bothered to make this thread.  When something actually makes me laugh like that, it's a special event.  Because 99% of the shows on TV are fucking bullshit.  Especially Reality TV.  Consume a DICK Reality TV.

You know what, I did miss them.  The Ball is crap as far as I'm concerned.  They play heavy shit, but then they mix in this pussy ass shit that's not even real Metal.  It's some form of Emo-Metal bullshit with a guy who screams and then sings all the chorus in a clean voice.  Next.  Watching the ball turned into the same thing as a radio station: You sit there and wait for them to play something you like.  How about I just play the music i like instead of waiting through some whining art school kids trying to be heavy.
 
And Robot Chicken is funny Jon, you need to pay more attention.

robot chicken is like watching videos today. you have to sit through some pretty bad skits to find a gem. but it's still good.
 and i liked TV funhouse. guess i'm in the minority there.
 
 as for mtv, back in the day, i didnt mind the occasional show. remote control, beavis, liquid tv, idiot box, and so on. but when the entire schedule is mostly dumbass shows, it gets to me.
 but even if they played music now, i'd still probably complain. since the state of music now mostly sucks. and thats Mtv's fault. THEY decided back in the day what to play. and around the late 90s, they dove head first in brittney, n sync, backstreet, .... hence creating a huge shit storm. in the process, brainwashing kids to think this is whats cool. so i find myself watching old school classic shows on VH1. when i actually liked the music they once played.
 but the occasional show is ok in my book. and wonder shozen is now a must for my tivo.
 people must watch this show!!!

wonder showzen is awesome. I liked the "i'll never know" what heaven's like comment but also liked when the girl on the spaceship says "I'm so excited my nose is bleeding". The "Beat Kids" segment is pretty cool too. Clarence isn't that bad either although that duck cartoon shit was a drag. 
I don't care about MTV2 being taken over for shows cause when i really want to punish myself and watch videos i'll watch em on MTVHits. I mostly only watch videos for me and my friends to make Beavis-and-Buttheadesque comments anyway. And cry like the guy in Se7en when the Hilary Duff "Let the Rain Come Down" video comes on. THEY MAKE ME WANT TO FUCK HER!!!!! (come on....."let the rain fall down and wet my dreams/let it wash away my sanity/cause i wanna feel the thunder, i wanna scream/let the rain fall down/i'm coming [clean].....really the fact that its allowed on during the day is obscene)
