To answer the original question seriously and honestly, yes, the oil on your nose does reduce the foam in your beer. My friend showed me this a couple months back and if its not true, then my damn minds playin tricks on me cause that foams goin somewhere when my oily finger touches it.

Actually, it's any fat grease. In "the olden days" fathers would send their children to the bars with huge mugs to get beer. Now of course they don't want to have the kid come back with a mug full of foam, so they would grease the inside of the mug with lard grease. That would cut out most of the foam.

The second reason it started was because the kids would drink the beer, and then blame the low amount on high foam content!

The best ones are those kinda near the bottom, about an inch and a quarte deeo, just past that first bend, where you can only see the edge of that rascal, and no amount of fingering will extract it.
I use a toothpick to get just under the edge and lift that baby out.
Eating a coke booger takes too long for me to get a rush, I just rub it in my eye....
