He said he will not let his show go on XM or Sirius because they do not censor their stations or have fcc guidelines to go by. Says it's not right they can broadcast what ever they want.
He got himself off Sirius a while back and this Monday removed himself from XM.
Now, while I am a hardcore right wing whacko I think this is going a bit too far. Being angry that a pay service I invite into my house/home is not being censored? Thats just plain stupid. It's like ordering a porno on pay per view and being angry naked chicks show up on my TV.
I think he's gone a bit too far this time.

I'm assuming he got kicked off and is using this an an excuse. I've never listened to his show, however, so what do I know.

Earlier last week he said he didn't want to be on satelite radio because he was mad they don't needto be regulated by the fcc and he would have his lawyers get him off.
So, this monday he is off for good.

isnt he for smaller govt and less govt regulation of industry, isnt that a staple of the conservative agenda. How does this stand mesh with his beliefs, according to this model its okay for a timber company to cut down old growth forest without any oversite, but lets start a whole new govt agency monitoring what people are paying for in there homes and cars becuse some kid that has been raised by stupid overprotective parents might hear the word fuck on TV, Let freedom ring, just dont talk about sex on tv or radio
Fellas I'm ready to get up and do my thing, you know like a Sex machine man

While I find his show somewhat amusing, he is a kook.
He said not regulating what goes over the satelite airwaves is like letting people drive there car as fast as they want on the interstate. HUH?
It is more like letting people drive as fast as they want on a CLOSED road that they PAID to drive on. Why censor something that people KNOW what they are getting, have to pay to get, and want?
I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

I agree with ADF, I think it's more likely he just didn't do well on XM and they probably are letting this go so he's using this as an excuse.
I don't care for Mike Savage at all.

I've never listened to him either, but ADF's theory seems very likely.

On DCRTV they were saying that he pulled his show from satellite because he felt it was eating into his FM ratings.

I was wondering why he wasnt on Sirius anymore.
The guy they replaced him with, Mike Church ( I think ) is pretty crazy.
He's much more entertaining than Sean Hannity and/or Laura Ingram.
I have balls !!!
