As long as you're not rubbing one out while looking at the CD cover I think you're OK.

This is so goddamn gay it makes me look straight.
I remember a year or two I was at a bar with an open mic night, and some schmuck got up there and started playing a Mayer song. About three seconds into the song, somebody in the crowd screamed out, "JOHN MAYER IS A SOFT BITCH!!!"
That sounded about right.

his music sucks
but his personality is quite engaging ... in any interview he comes off as a very likeable, entertaining chap ...
but, his music is just awfully bland, boring and bad ...

Other than his Chapelle show appearance, he comes off as a namby-pamby mamma's boy.

Big Thanx to Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.</center>
