There is no one wittier than Don - something everyone can agree with - but seriously, wasn't Bob Edwards bitching on R&R last month that he has no listeners since he went to XM, especially compared to his NPR days? Even Ron calls it "narrow casting," not "broadcasting."

And before people want to pile on D&M - their relationship with R&F is not the same as R&F's are with O&A, however it is a hellova lot better than it was years ago; MUCH more than just on air lip service.

D&M ratings in among 18-25 over the past six months....8.1, 6.1, 5.7, 4.6, and this month was a 3.8.

Not blasting anyone or any show, but as a general statement if any show has had 4 down trends/books in a row, getting lower each time...I would have to guess the #'s aren't wrong (thatis from DCRTV 25-54 I believe)

the same goes for any show...if it continues to lose listeners, you'd have a problem

so what is it that people are believing that isn't true?

have the #'s for that show gone up and it's a secret somewhere?
