Anyone else here like Justice League?

I recently had an urge to download some Justice League and JL Unlimited to watch on my computer. Now I know alot of you are not as big of comic buffs as I was growing up (Yes I was a nerd/loser when I was little) but I have to say when it comes to the more recent JLU storylines they very much stay true to the old school DC comic storylines.

They tend to focus on the Big 7 (Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and J'onn J'onzz) but when it comes to the other members of the League I was shocked when I saw some old school comic characters. Hell I even saw the Blue Devil in an episode!
Was good written stories and it even had me laughing outloud once every other episode.

Anyone else in here watch this cartoon and enjoy it? If so what were your favorite episodes?

I haven't seen much of it since the first season but I do like it.

Episode that sticks out the most for me is the one where they had the Green Lantern on trial for blowing up some moon. Was a two part episode.

And this remindes me, I need to go pick up my comics at the shop. They have been piling up since I had surgery in October!

I like Justice League better than most of the Unlimited shows, but they've had some good ones.

Where are you seeing the episodes? Since I don't see them in the regular schedule any more, I'd love to catch them somewhere.

It's nothing like the old Super Friends. But yes, I do enjoy the first season of Justice League. The GL Trial was a very good episode.

Doomsday Sanction (For this one you may have to watch some of the other episodes, because a lot of the Justice League episodes now are referencing previous ones and are not stand along as much).

I also saw Melissa Gilbert, Alex Baldwin, Nichole Thom (the hot older chick from the nanny), Michael Dorn, Bowers Boothe amoung others.

JLU gets a bad rap from the online fans, but i love them, just seeing some of the lesser known DC characters is a blast, hell they had a whole episode featuring Booster Gold, now if they could just get Blue Beetle an episode

The episode related to the conspiricy storyline are

A better world from season 2 the Justice Lords one
Ultimatum from season 3
Fearful symetry from season 3
and this weeks episode The doomsday sanction
hopefully this helps anyone who wants to catch up

JLU kind of waters down the product a bit, but still an interesting watch ...

they tend to run them saturday evening and late sunday afternoon ...

I get it from the comp too. I'm never home when they show em on t.v. I'm a big Green Lantern fan so any episode with any GL is cool. Heck, I'm been trying to get the Duck Dodger's Green Lantern episode. That episode was awesome almost all the major GLs were there and even Sinestro!

JLU was running new eps for the last month or two Saturday nights at 8. I think they still have the time slot, but last new ep was this past saturday until April.

And seasons 1 and 2 featured just the seven listed above, which is why they focused on those heroes so much. Seasons 3 and 4 have been the Unlimited eps, which featured more heroes. JLU also has been focused on stand alone episodes, but most of them feed into a more overreaching story arc.

I guess it was inevitable that they brought in all those other heros. They could only do so many storylines with the original 7 heros. (well not the true original 7 but for tv purposes....) I was just shocked to see ALL of the heros from the comics. The only problem I saw was Hawk and Dove were a male/female couple in the comic and these were two guys on the tv. They looked gay. Literally.
And I will saw the animation improved tremndously with season 4 and 5.

The only problem I saw was Hawk and Dove were a male/female couple in the comic and these were two guys on the tv

The male/female version of Hawk and Dove came after the original Dove (who was male) was killed in Crisis I think. So there were 2 dudes (brothers in fact) that were Hawk and Dove in the comics. It was not a short time after that the female Dove joined Hawk.

I had downloaded Doomsday Sanction, but deleted it this past weekend after watching it, and the site I got it from was down all weekend.

Try searching any popular places to get tv shows.

That was the Supergirl episode. I think JLU is one of the best written shows on TV with the exception of the Hawk/Dove ep. that was lame.

I have that episode. The actual name of it is Fearful Symmetry.
Good episode.
It also starred Green Arrow (who I am liking more and more with each episode that he is in)

If you're liking Green Arrow, wait till April, when he finally goes on a date with Black Canary, episode titled "Double Date".

And I wasn't sure if GA was in the Galilea ep (I knew there was a third) or the ep title, but I didn't care enough to look it up.

And it was Batman being Batman because he feared the possible rise of the Justice Lords. I think we'll see Batman doing some evil shit when they return in April.

my guess is for where they will be going is either Batman forming some sort of Anti Justice League, or the plans that he has to use against them if there were to go rouge falling into the wrong hands ala The Tower of Babel story from the JLA comic a couple of years back

was ruined by too many writers trying to trick up his storyline. This
was a pretty good attempt by the JLU crew to fix the mess. Now if they
can just get rid of Jon Steward as the GL. KR is a much better fit, but
they have to leave it alone because of the lack of major black
Superheroes. Kind of like when they made Iron Man a black guy for a
while. I just went into nerd overload.<br />
