but lets face it, the show sucked. There were so many better gameshows on Nickelodeon, this one doesn't come close.

I was too old for those days of Nick, but have seen a few of them on on Gas. Cracks me up that Michael O'Malley was the host of one of them - skinny and with hair!

Just seemed like Nick really tried back in the early 1990s. Shows like Ren and Stimpy and The Adventures of Pete and Pete appealed to college kids and lil' kids, plus they really went balls-out to try and do cool game shows/endurance shows/etc. Aside from Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents, does Nick actually do anything anymore?? Kind of a bummer.

Kids shows just stink now - as a general rule. Too much stuff that's eithered dumbed down, or simply ideas for adut shows with the word "Kids" in the title. The only time I see anything remotely interesting it's usually old, or produced in Canada.

A friend of mine has a 5 year old who watches those shows on Gas and wants to go to Florida to either be in them or watch them - sort of like when I was a kid and wanted to go fishin' with Andy and Opie.

It would be great if Nick could try and produce some mroe game shows like that - kids love that. And bring back "You Can't Do That On Television" while you are at it (another Candaian product) - a smart "variety" show, not that crap with Amanda Huggenkiss, or whatever her name was. Pffft.
