Most of us R & F Listeners also listen to Opie and Anthony. It would be great to have XM forum on the messageboard to discuss equipment programming etc.

I dont care, I just don't care, I really dont care. F U Howard Stern!!!!!

I think a satellite radio forum would be more appropiate, therefore we would be able to discuss XM, Siruis and all the talents that are on each company. Plus that forum can be used to fuel all the speculation as to where R&F will/might end up.

I think all sat discussions would work fine in the RF nationwide forum. No need to keep adding forums.

I don't see that happening. A similar suggestion was made as to having an O&A forum and that was rejected. If you have O&A discussion, it fits just fine in the thread devoted to O&A. There are also a number of XM threads where you can discuss equipment.

Most of us R & F Listeners also listen to Opie and Anthony.

Are you saying that most R&F listeners are XM subscribers? I'd say that's false, at least currently.

How about not. At most, it deserves a thread with a sticky.

I seriously don't see why a Satellite Radio forum is such a crazy idea.

Because it would either get less posts in it than the Confessional Forum or be devoted to Ona/Howard, et al. Plus, we already have the Entertainment Forum for that sort of thing.

The suggested XM Forum would be the poor man's Wrestling Forum.

There'd be about 5 people in it all day, and somehow a HateTreeHighway type poster would be spawned from it.

Moe's right. The focus of this site is Ron & Fez. If you want to discuss XM, there are MANY xm radio boards out there...as well as O&A boards.

i don't get that theory...there are plenty of sports/wrestling/current events type messageboards also...but we have forums for all of those.

a satellite radio forum seems closer related to Ron and Fez then any of the three forums i mentioned above.

That's the problem for me, There are too many O&A boards. They seem to talk about Wackbag more than the others, but that group scares me a bit.

I've still haven't finished reading that rules of engargement thing (for dealing with the O&A Army attacks on others like Tony Danza)

Wackbag is a bunch of silly gooses - they were the red headed step child for the longest time that all of the O&A fans laughed at, until the implosion with OA.com. Then they got all cock sure and full of themselves. Now, they don't have any problem going to other message boards and being pricks, but if someone is stupid enough to go there and be critical, they are banned within seconds.

i don't get that theory...there are plenty of sports/wrestling/current events type messageboards also...but we have forums for all of those.

That example only works if there was a "Pay Per View Sports Wrestling Current Events" forum on here. Those examples you cited anyone can participate it in; an "XM" one seems myopic and schillish and restrictive to most of the people who view this message board.

a satellite radio forum seems closer related to Ron and Fez then any of the three forums i mentioned above.

How??? Ron and Fez are still on commercial radio where they talk about sports, wrestling, entertainment and current events for four hours a night.

That said, I would love an XM forum on here, if that meant all of hawking for XM across the board would stop - it comes across as a real turn off. It's like my friends who have Tivo and promote it endlessly, or think I'm nuts because I don't (as a rule) tape television, much less take the blue pill (or is a red pill?) and get more stuff I don't need.

EDIT: (Of course upon reflection - whenever I miss something - who do I call? My friends with Tivo)

Still...to quote my drinking buddy during his open letters - "Stop it! Just stop it!"

Wackbag is a pretty cool place and many of the folks there are decent eggs.
