Sabbath and Maiden to headline 10th anniversary of OzzFest! Also appearing, Anthrax with Belladonna, Ian, Spitz, Bello and Benate. (http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=32912)
There is a rumor that Megadeth will also appear. Very cool lineup.

Wow, I'm defintely taking off for that show. It's also a great place to just pass out HUNDREDS of free promos for Unhallowed.
I couldn't go last year with my band, but they passed out 200 in the parking lot in about 20 minutes.

If anyone hasn't seen or gotten it yet, Iron Maiden: The Early Days Part 1 DVD is just an amazing retrospective on the band and their storied history. The first disc is from around 1972 when Miaden first formed until the end of the Piece of Mind tour. Steve Harris literally cleaned outhis basement full of old concert film, photos and recordings from those early times. It was just really cool to watch and one of the few bands that is just so thankful to their fans. I can't wait for Part 2.
Not only is there the Documentary but the 3 concert videos that were released during this era and an old bootleg of a show they did before the release of the first album. Really really cool to watch.
I am DYING for AC/DC to do something like this. I was able to watch all of their vidoes via the CD_ROM on the remasters but that was about it.
I will suck it up and go to Ozzfest if I can find someone to go with this year just for Anthrax with Belladonna. If indeed he performs with them. Last time he was supposed to rejoin them he bailed. THAT was such a horrible show.

A Kyuss reunion at anyplace at any time would be truly amazing and have my ass firmly planted in front of that stage. Such Desert Gods they were.

MANOWAR always freaked me out. That leather speedo thing was gay from the get go, and everything I've heard from them is boring.

As much as MANOWAR ripped on "False Metal" and "posers" their music is a bottle of hair spray and some lipstick away from it. A little bit heavier yes but still. With lyrics like "Woman, be my slave!" you could not help but laugh.
Seeing them a few years back was great but a scary thought too as it was a sausage fest and they ALL were wearing MANOWAR all-over-print shirts. ANY all over print shirt is scary but when it is MANOWAR, it reaches a whole new level.
I am DYING for AC/DC to do something like this. I was able to watch all of their vidoes via the CD_ROM on the remasters but that was about it.
THANK YOU!
As not to derail this anymore but I just saw this and made kids in my shorts.

Everyone remembers Grim Reaper from their awful videos on Beavis and Butthead.

<p>I'm going to the PNC show on the 26th. I'm looking forward to seeing Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage and, of course, Iron Maiden. Tony Iommi was amazing last year so I'm looking forward to seeing Black Sabbath again as well.</p><p>I'm going to try and get there early to see most of the bands on the second stage. Blow off work, hang at a metal show all day. Nice.</p>

I found out about them with their horrific videos that Beavis and Butthead ripped apart. But after I got past that, I found I really enjoyed their 80's metal styles. Fear No Evil especially.<br />
