What did you think? I thought it was great, as usual. I watched 2 and a half hours of it.
Some highlights
Alicia Keys "I aint got you" into her and Jamie Fox doing Ray Charles tribute "Georgia"
Melissa Etheridge/Joss Stone- Joplin tribute
J-Lo Marc Antony-I was ridiculously impressed by Marc's voice, especially live. Sounded as good or better than recorded.
Kayne Wests acceptance speech-Had train wreck written all over it, but worked out pretty cool.
Green Day doing "American Idiot" with the line "I'm not a part of a redneck agenda" Right after Lynyrd Skynyrd did Sweet Home Alabama" with the line "Hope Niel Young will remember, Southern Man dont need him around"

Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.

No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be; Am an attendant lord, one that will do To swell a progress, start a scene or two, advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool, deferential, glad to be of use, Politic, cautious, and meticulous; Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse; At times, indeed, almost ridiculous-- Almost, at times, the Fool.

This was actually one of the better Grammys they've had in a long time. That "All-star Tsunami Tribute" was horrendous though.
What was up with Melissa Etheridge? Did she just decide to pull a Sinead O'Conner and shave her head or is she bald from a sickness?

If she's sick, you couldn't tell. She sounded great and had a ton of energy. Best "piece of my heart" since Janis did it herself.
