The giants and the state or NJSEA or whatever are meeting to discuss points on a proposed $700 million stadium holding about 80,000.

They are making the Medowlands into something called Xanadu. They are putting in a whole buch of stores and restaurants. Since they are losing the Nets, Devils and Jets they better do something.

i know they are making xanadu, and dont act like the teams are a big lose. Nets and devils lose money, xanadu is gonna make a ton once its open. and a new stadium is gonna be great. they should make it a dome so maybe they could get the fuckin superbowl

The Giants actually called me last year doing a poll about the refurbishing the current stadium or building a new one. I never had a problem with the old one but if the new one helps me get my season tickets faster then build it. 27 years and counting!

and that 27 years is bs too cause thats assuming no one keeps them.

i dont mind Giants Stadium, but comparing it to stadiums around the league, it really has nothing. its kinda plain, and a cookie cutter.
with all the restaurants that are gonna be there now, and the track, and shopping places, and whatever other convention hall they are puttin in, its perfect for the superbowl if they build a new stadium. put a bar and shit and a stadium club type thing, it would be sick. retractable roof

Yeah there is nothin special about Giants stadium but I sure the new one will be great. I just hope they can make it easier to get out of there after games but if there is all that shit there you can go eat dinner while the traffic dies down I guess.

Apparently someone's never seen "Twist of Fate"...FAB-U-LOUS!

Anyway, the Xanadu project has always made me giggle when I hear it, but if it finally gets the real OK & they break ground, it's going to be IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE! I hope they really mean it this time.
