Canadian professors have determined that North American college students have less ability to recognize complex (and frankly, simple) rhythmic structures than first and second generation immigrants from Bulgaria and Macedonia.
OK, three comments:
It is not clear from the article whether ethnic heritage was an uncontrolled variable amongst the North American sample population
Hey professors, get a real job!
We got less rhythm than a bunch of goat-herding, neighbor-feuding dirt farmers from the Balkans?!? Damn, we suck.
