GG - Great to see you posting again!

I'm not familiar with Opera, (I thought she was a TV talk show host), but between ie and netscape I greatly prefer ie.

I guess I will be the first to admit that I use Netscape. IE is way too slow.

I have to admit I was a Netscape user until version 6.0. What a damn atrocity that was.

6.0 sucks. I tried it for an hour, but then I reloaded Version 4.77. I couldn't figure out 6.0.

6.1 is better than 6.0 but it still can't touch 4.xx.

Oh and Opera has ads so you might want to get Serials 2000 and put in the serial number to get the registered version that you normally have to pay for;).

I will get a sig pic...eventually

I downloaded Opera last week on adolescentmasturbator's recommendation, and I liked it very much. However, since then, Internet Explorer locks up every time I use it. I have no idea why, maybe some sort of conflict between the two, or complete coincidence. I even ran an anti-virus scan on IE, and it showed nothing. Go figure.

I never had Netscape 4.78, so I just downloaded it now after hearing you guys talk about it. It really is fast, but for some reason, this message board is viewed so much better with Netscape 6.0 than anything else. It is very large and spread out, compared to how tight it looks using any other browser. However, 6.0 and 6.1 do not support Shockwave (at least not with Mac), so they are basically useless for any other web sites.

I think that's IE's way of saying oh no I'm the only browser on this computer.
}c£†ñdX«ø•UXs:–didn't double post time is screwing up on this board.
As for shockwave <A HREF="http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/alternates"target_blank>you should have gone here

Oh, believe me, I've tried. And everytime I download a shockwave program, I get the message "This browser does not support this type of file" or some such nonsense. Aggrivates the piss out of me.

My IE has been locking up on me since yesterday. At first I thought it was me but I've talked to some other people who are experiencing the same thing. Think it might have something to do with Osama bin Camelfucker??????

I tried opera a couple years ago and didn't care for it. Netscape 6 came up short, so my e-mail proggie is still Netscape 4.7x, but I browse between IE 5.5 (haven't tried 6 yet) and Netscape 4.7x

GVAC - Have you tried adjusting the size of the text?

I started out using Mosaic.
Then I finally gave in at Netscape 2.0.
Then it was Netscape all the way up until 4.7, and I tried out 6. But I screwed up my 4.7 by trying to manually edit my huge email file.
So now it's IE 5.5 for me.

Yeah, HK, I have adjusted the text, but the whole layout itself is larger in 6.0. Hard to explain, I guess.
Any other Mac users out there? Maybe you can better define what I'm seeing.
