Which one was your favorite? Mine was the one where the girl was going off to elope, the father stops her, only to tell her just to take her mother's car instead of the Cadillac. That and when the parachute guy throws out a case of beer and the pilot jumps out of the plane to get it.
Only good movie spot was the new trailer for Batman Begins. That new Batmobile looks freaking sweet. ("Does it come in black?")

That one was the best of the bunch.

No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be; Am an attendant lord, one that will do To swell a progress, start a scene or two, advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool, deferential, glad to be of use, Politic, cautious, and meticulous; Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse; At times, indeed, almost ridiculous-- Almost, at times, the Fool.

Here in Toronto, we didn't get all the big expensive commercials during the Superbowl (we got regular primetime Canadian commericals) so....
how was the two minute preview for WAR OF THE WORLDS?

I liked the Ditka/Dancing Bear one. Because you could go through all the commericals after and go--celebrity, catchy pop song. Talking animal. etc, etc, etc... for all the commercials that followed.

I liked the Bud Light commercial with the parrot, and the Ameriquest one with the robbery - God I hate the handless cell phones!
The "War of the Worlds" commercial was nothing really special; it looked like a sequel to ID4. Still, it made me want to see it. so I guess it was effective, since I had been on the fence.

I'm not sure I have ever, or will ever, laugh that hard at a commercial. Winner by knockout.

I only HEARD that one at the time, I wasn't watching it. So when I heard "I work with a bunch of monkeys", I thought it was something racial.

GoDaddy's was good. She was a definite hotty.
Bud Light's comercial with the airplane was good because it played off an old ad. We were sitting there saying we'd seen it before, till the pilot jumped out after the beer.
I missed the cat in the sauce. Anyone know where I can dl it?

Jessie Capelli is the GoDaddy spokesgirl. If Memory Serves, she's a webwhore with naked pics all over.
I liked...
1) Trooper Salute in Airport
2) Cat and Sauce
3) Batman Begins (I swear to god, I thought Bale said "Bone" instead of "Black" at first)
4) GoDaddy.
War of the Worlds - The #1 reason why this movie has set me off... I don't care if the movie takes place in Jersey, TOM CRUISE IS NOT A YANKEES FAN.

Yes, unfortunately Ditka (and Jim McMahon & the Fridge) was in a commercial for tile or countertops or something.

Oh, man, that Godaddy.com commercial was an embarassment to bad commercials everywhere. I know it intentionally had poor production values, but it also failed to be remotely funny or clever. Everything about it stunk. Hot chicks are a dime a dozen in the ad world. A hot chick does not a good ad make.
That said. Cat sauce, Burt Bear, and You're Getting Robbed topped it for me.

I always thought a good Super Bowl commercial would be one for Planters and you could say "We're just nuts for the Super Bowl!".......something to that effect.....or "We're getting NUTTY for the game!"......the key is to insert the word "nut" somewhere in the slogan.................... that's the key......

Wasn't Jesse, though she is very hot. It was Candice Michelle, who plays the makeup artist on RAW.

The Cat one was hands down the best. GoDaddy was the best to watcch over and over again.

Jimmy Fallon kissing Drew Barrymore -- on the field, on live TV -- right after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. In fact, they were shown in a closeup within 60 seconds of the final out. And every Red Sox fan is determined to pretend that this never happened, and that it didn't taint the moment even a little bit ... so it wasn't a huge deal.

Holy Smack!! Godaddy.com is an adult website!! Can you believe it!!!
HA!!! Fooled you!!!!
According to Godaddy, they had a second spot pulled later in the game by the NFL and FOX
Take a look (http://www.bobparsons.com/)
As you may have noticed our Super Bowl ad only appeared during the scheduled first quarter spot. It was scheduled to run also in the second ad position during the final two minute warning. Our ad never ran a second time. Instead, in its place, we saw an advertisement promoting, of all things, "The Simpsons."
The NFL persuaded FOX to pull our ad.
We immediately contacted Fox to find out what happened. Here's what we were told: After our first ad was aired, the NFL became upset and they, together with Fox, decided to pull the ad from running a second time. Because we purchased two spots, we were also entitled to a "Brought to you by GoDaddy.com" 5 second marquis spot. They also chose to pull the marquis spot.
The WWE even takes notice (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/raw/related/CandiceGoDaddy.jsp)
