I actually thought the Mets and Rangers had the best shot at him. Last year I traded Giambi for him in my MLB 2004 game, it turned out to be an amazing move for me. But in reality, I could care less where he goes now.

Why are people clamoring for this guy at this salary? To me, he's an injury waiting to happen, on the downside agewise, and unwilling to step into a pressure situation(wouldn't accept a trade to a contender despite knowing TO wouldn't resign him). I'm speechless that' he's able to command this much cash.

On the plus side, you've got to think he'd be able to hit the warehouse with 80 games in Baltimore.
