Ive watched Desparate Housewives...and maybe its just not my type of show, but I really dont see what the huge deal is...I really dont think it shouldve won for best comedy...

Ive watched Nip/Tuck...and again, maybe it just not my type of show...but there is no way it shouldve won for best television series over 24, Sopranos, and CSI...

I've never seen the show, but quality television gets cancelled all of the time because it can't find an audience, but crappy "safe" TV lives on for years.

Since when? It seemed like more people were talking about it this season than any of the previous two.

And if it goes, hey, it goes. It was lucky to get past one season, and each season has been so brilliantly written that they've wrapped up in such a way that a new season isn't necessary at all. But then when a new season DOES show up, it completely flips everything around, and still ends being twice as good as the season before.

The list of writers on the show is fantastic. Basically every top mystery/crime fiction writer today is part of the writing staff, and the quality and care really shows with each episode.

Nothing else on TV even comes close.
