View Full Version : Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 4 came out today. I just picked up my copy but I haven't played it yet. I will post my comments when I do.
According to these reviews, this one could be the best in the series. Even stingy Gamespot gave it a 96%. (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages4/535840.asp)

I picked up my copy after school. Awesome.
Thats really something for me to say too. I hate survival horror games. I never liked RE and I even tried Eternal Darkness, but didn't do it for me.
So far, after an hour of play I'm really impressed with the gameplay. No longer does the "horror" come from cheap thrills, but from the gradual, white knuckled tension brought about from enemies.
The guns just feel great to use also. Taking out enemies with the shotgun and rifle is just amazing.
Also, the story and cinematics are very high quality.

Just sat down and palyed it for a while. Love the new direction the series is going in. Chainsaw Baghead Guy rules.
