I love the XM my Fi, but unfortunately there are some areas where I cant get any reception, specifically on the Metro North train from Fordham to 125th st, I get absolutely no service. Also there are parts of grand central, in the Main area where I have no service. Does anyone else have similar problems with their my fi?

O&A's show today was a dead spot. Holy shit did it suck. Thankfully it was only two hours.

No, it wasn't that. It was that they made it the Nugent show for half of it. I don't agree with anything he says, but I did find it entertaining the first couple times I heard him on O&A. 20 identical interviews later and I want to shoot myself.

EDIT: How bad was he? I was enthralled when they had Kevin Kennedy on. Absolutely ENTHRALLED. I highly doubt that Kevin Kennedy is actually that good, it's probably just the radio cancer that was Nugent that made him seem so good.

I didn't care for Nugent either, and I like the guy.

I don't agree with everything he says though.

I hate when Nugent is on O&A. He never shuts up and I dont agree with 95% of what he says. I hope they dont have him on again.

One of the callers had it right, he sounds rehearsed.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

It sounds rehearsed because he says the same thing everytime.

I didn't hear it, but I can imagine how bad it was. Nugent is awful -- it's the same shtick every time.

an xm radio needs a clear view of the southern sky. If it's blocked you may lose signal.

I don't agree with everything he says though.

I dont need to agree w/ everyone I like, and I still don't like Nugent. I don't hold his views against him, I usually enjoy listening to someone with different take than mine. Might learn something. The problem isn't his views, it's that he's an overbearing jerk who acts like his view is the ONLY one worth listening to. And he only listens to others long enough (not very) to say what wanted to say in the first place. No real conversation happening.

Let me clarify that I don't like the guy or character, but rather for what he stands for (ie: the right to bear arms). I believe in gun control, though I also believe in citizens having the right to protect themselves. For that I like that he's vocal about it.

The shtick he uses when he appears on O&A, or Howard, Hannity or wherever is the same and it's kind've old.

Nugent is a musician. Why would anyone take what he says seriously, his job is to entertain, not inform.

And I do find him entertaining, but I'm not a fan of his music.

He's also a political activist with a lot of interesting, even if overbearing & too often absolute, views.

I find him entertaining in small amounts, with lots of time in between doses. How he managed to have a marginally successful radio show is beyond me, though. I couldn't listen to him on a daily basis.

Yes, and at entertaining he failed miserably. I could care less what he thinks; I found him amusing in the past regardless. But it's just the same stupid shit everytime.

I thought Nugent was amazing as ever and pretty much agree 100% with him. Just like last time he was great and I can't wait for him to be on again.

He's a true American. Shame he can't convert the losing minority of people who disagree with him.

Oh well. 4 more years!
