Nope, I just check my stuff online every few days to make sure my payments went through and no one stole my identity.

Everytime I make a puchase, I will enter it into my checkbook. then when the statement comes I will make sure each thing balances, add my interest, and make sure my dollar amount matches theirs.

I get paid every other thursday, so every other thursday I compare my quicken to my online statement.

I get paid every two weeks, so that's tupically when I pull out the checkbook and latest receipts to make sure everything is running smoothly. And also when my monthly bank statements show up.

I also check my online account just to be sure 5-6 times a week.

How could anyone NOT balance their checkbook? My roommate doesn't and he's always paying the price...literally.

with the frequency at which i charge stuff to my bank card, its literally impossible to keep a written check record...who needs one anyway...my online account works much better than i do and never fucks up the math...
