I do like that the show is trying to differ itself from the others while keeping a lot of the Kilborn stuff. I think that the new Craig is a tad funnier than the old Craig. He needs to work on the delivery of the opening monologue jokes. The show tends to do a lot of cutesy...but its on against Conan so no ones gonna watch it anyway...

I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.

I didnt like it when Kilborn was the host and Im not really into this guy either. The Late Late Show never gets good guests anyway so I dont watch it. Conan is a much better show.

The hosts' first name doesn't HAVE to be "Craig!"

Im surprised they gave Ferguson the job considering they had D.L. Hugley and Adam Carolla "campaigning" for the job as well...

And Michael Ian Black. Would've been weird to see Adam Carolla competing with Jimmy Kimmel

It would have rocked my fucking world if Michael Ian Black was the host. He's fucking hysterical. Fuck that Scottish tool. And fuck Craig Kilborne.

I watched this last night. I have to agree with Window Sill. I thought Ferguson was a stand-up before being on TV? Doesn't seem like it from his monologue.

I don't watch a lot of Late Night talk shows, but I have seen Craig a few times.
He's absolutely the best. He doesn't come off as phony or try too hard. He's just himself and it works.

Ferguson is at his best when he is interviewing a starlet. He blatantly hits on them.

I think a good effect of this whole clusterfuck with Conan and Leno is that it brought Craig Ferguson to the attention of a lot more people.
He's doing something far more interesting with the format than anyone else is now.

I hope you're right and more people are finding Ferguson, although he was already beating Conan at 12:30. If Letterman ever packs it in (it's long past time, but he's never going to quit) Ferguson would be great at 11:30. Actually, they could put Ferguson on at 9 AM and he would work there too.

This week Craig heads back to Scotland, via Tardis.
The first episode was hilarious. He had a great interview with Mila Kunis walking through a cemetery.
