Vecsey wrote a great article about a kid from Jersey I think who was going to school up in Portland Washington, worked for the Blazers and was over in Iraq and was killed in June. He mighta been from Washington, not Jersey, that part I aint sure of.
Great article with background on the kid and 2 friends who were in his battalion, or crew, or unit, whatever the proper term is. It also gives accounts from the kids diary that show his total change of mindstate.
I'm sure someone can link it, I'm at work and can't really fuck with it right now, just thought it was a great article and wanted to share. I'm normally no Vecsey fan, but this was good shit.
