Sims 2 question

Ok, this is really annoying me. I want one of my Sims 2 families to move to a new house. How do I do that?

Is this on the PS2??? You have to complete the list of task (like your sims to get a job, update the furniture in the present apartment, etc.) to be able to move into a new home. My niece had the same trouble last year. Hope it helps you out.

Sims 2 is a PC game, not a PS2 game.
