I'd totally forgotten that I ever had this game until I saw this pic

This one survived over the years... in fact, "Santa" just brought this one to my sons two years ago.

Stretch ruled! But the neighbor kid and I got into such an arguement about what was inside of him, and what it would do to you if it got on your skin, that we finally made a cut in it to find out.

RIP Mr. Armstrong.

heh heh... it said ASS!

Awesome! Although I think trying to see the world through his "Bionic Eye" for so long is why I had to wear glasses as a kid.

Greatest toy of all time!

what about the evil monster version of stretch armstrong?
he looked like the abomination from marvel comics, green big ears rough skin etc.

hella cool toy untill it got punctured and leaked all over.

and what about the large (about 18 inches to 2 feet tall) shogun warrior and godzilla toys?

im a long time lurker, but new poster.

I had the bridge of the enterprise from the original series - had a working transporter and everything. Was for use with the 8 inch "action figures". Was made of vinyl coated cardboard.

The speak n spell was great because we would go into the store, play with demo and make it say all kinds of vulgarities and swear words. They had the speak n spell, speak n read and something else.. but one of them could actually phonetically read words.

The fucking best.

As I got older, I opted for a sawed-off model...far less cumbersome during an intense sofa-fort battle.

I remember one that came out circa 1968 that was just plain insane.
It was called something like "Glop" or "Goop". hell, I don't know.
It was this shit you had to keep in the freezer in a plastic container like a Cool Whip tub.
You'd mix it up, put it in the freezer to set, and then you'd take it out and handle it. That was all you did, hold it in your hands or pass this creepy substance to a friend.
Alls it was was a gloppy bunch of goo with the consistency of frog's eggs. It was quite popular for one summer. As I recall, it came in about 3 colors, blue, green and orange, I think.
The "fun" part was in how disgusting it was...

No doubt that anyone who played with that Glop or Goop has long ago lost their hands to cancer.

Mini bowie knives out of gumball machines were the best. Every Evel Knievel should have came with one.
