I know i have heard Ron talk about this on the show before but it still bothers me every time i here it, also they never if mention ashlee simpson went through this crap, i guess the father didnt care if she gets plowed before marriage

SIMPSON'S VOW TO FATHER

JESSICA SIMPSON's father JOE made the singer promise to stay a virgin until she married, during a ceremony when she was twelve.

Simpson sr, who doubles as Jessica's manager, handed the 24-year-old a promise ring and vowed to be the only man in her life until she married.

He explains, "I'm going to tell you how beautiful you are every day. Even when you make a mistake, you are someone special. And I am going to be that person until the day you find a man to do that in my place."

Jessica - who married NICK LACHEY in October 2002 - then promised she would remain a virgin.
Joe adds,

The more uncomfortable stuff is when he talks about her body and how sexy she is. That really creeps me out.

The parents of all these teen celebrities really do freak me out. Especially the things they say. I read an article on Lindsay Lohan in Entertainment Weekly where her mom (who is also her manager) is pointing out how big her daughters breasts are and that they're real. She says it in a really creepy way. It's just something I don't expect to hear from someones mom about their kids. I've also heard things Jessica Simpsons dad has said as well and it's just so weird.

Might check out Ashlee's this season to see the SNL and Orange Bowl performances.

I find the best way to enjoy that video is to turn down the volume and listen to Frank Zappa's Crew Slut, while watching. By the way... In the video and the commercials, you never see the roof of the General Lee. I haven't seen the movie. Do they show it in the movie, or are we all being coddled again?

As for seeing the movie... I'm now up to 19 free movie tickets in my wallet, and I STILL wouldn't waste one on this movie.
