Missy and I were both insured under AutoOne insurance as high risk drivers. Together we shelled out over $8000 in auto premiums a year. THEN...we discovered Geico, who has just come to NJ and are starting with a clean slate. Together, we now pay $3192 in insurance premiums. We are still high risk drivers exceeding NJ's 7 point maximum.

My brother, who is not high risk, payed 4000 in premiums with Liberty Mutual. He saved $1300.

I seriously recommend all of you who are paying out the fucking ass in auto premiums to take advantage of Geico's rates while they are still a new company without lawsuits pending. You will save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

You should apply online first, then call once you get your quote. You can switch insurance companies at any time without penalty.

Let me know if any of you save.

I don't live in Jersey though I'm there often enough. But I do have Geico and I love them. I have definitely saved money since switching to them.

I also took advantage of their safe driver program where you take a one day course on being a safe driver. I get 10% off on my insurance and it also reduces some of the points on your license. I personally didn't have any points, but for those that do, you can reduce I think around 3 points off your license by taking the course.

I just checked them out on a whim. Well over FOUR GRAND we are saving. We should be in the commercial with that fucking gecko.

I told my sister in NY and she just switched and saved $1000 a year.

NJ Cure is actually cheaper for me. I called geico a few weeks ago and i would have to have paid an extra 700 a year.

My parents got a quote from Geico and it was actually quite higher than what they are currently paying. They've been at the same company for a very long time and they have collision and all that extra coverage and they have spotless records so maybe that has something to do with it.

NJ Manufacturers, can't really get too much lower.

Yes, thats the lowest in NJ - but you have to have a perfect driving record and work for a company that participates in the plan.

Truth to FMJeff's post.

I switched over 2 weeks ago to Geico. Went from paying $1700 every 6 months with Statefarm to now paying $950ish every 6 months.

Much more gooder this way!
