Didn't Van Halen use that guy from Extreme?

Made Queen should use David Lee Roth!

Firm Queen....

I see a posturepedic mattress in his future...

Or a duo with Elton John!

it wouldn't be so tasteless if they didn't use 'queen' ... without freddy, does it matter ...?

i guess a tour under the brian may/paul rodgers monicker wouldn't draw as strong ...

I hate when bands do this. The Doors did it a year or two ago and it was just awful.

Although I didn't like any of his solo stuff, the only person I would want to see the members of Queen tour with is George Michael. He did such justice to the songs he participated on during the concert for Freddie. And I'm sure the humor of GM filling in for Freddie wouldn't be lost on anyone either. I just don't see Rodgers having the right kind of voice to fill the spot properly.

They should hire Terence Trent D'Arby. I think he was in INXS for a while.

INXS Regroups With Terence Trent D'Arby For Stadium Show (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1427808/05271999/inxs.jhtml)

I don't know if he ever was officially a singer of their's but I did see him on MTV with them a few years ago, perhaps it was a one shot deal.

I am a HUGE Queen fan. I had the LP's and replaced 'em with Cassettes, then CD's, then remastered CD's and I have almost all their DVD releases. Having said that:
Queen, simply, was not that great live. Their huge harmonies and layered guitars simply could not be reproduced live and, in my opinion, it really took away from my overall enjoyment of a Queen concert.
The best part of a live Queen show was FREDDY! If he can't be there...then they really should just pack it in OR continue the band under another name.
Paul Rodgers simply does not have the right vocal quality or energy to do a night of Queen music.
George Michael does.
Gary Cherone does.
Robbie Williams does (kinda).
but they STILL should not call it Queen.

Sebastian Bach was replaced with Johnny Solinger, some nobody that no one cares about and no one has ever heard of.

We were both so amazed at the chemistry that was going on in All Right Now, that suddenly it seems blindingly obvious that there was something happening here."

Are these two forming a band or falling in love?

I hope they dont call it Queen. Brian May should stay active, I'm sure he has alot to contribute. But you cant replace such a larger than life personality like Freddie Mercury. Call it Queen's Subjects and I'll be happy.

I liked how they got Liza Minelli to sing the closing "We Are the Champions" at the Freddie tribute concert. I guess Ethel Merman was busy.
