Do you decorate for Christmas?

I put up a live wreath on my front door. That's about it. I have three cats and a dachshund so a tree is out of the question. What do you guys do?

i have a wreath on the door. If you want a tree but ur afraid of the animals knocking it over you can tie some twine to the tree and put a small nail in the wall and it will stop it from falling. I have done that to the tree at my place for the past four years to stop my cats from knocking it over. I dont however have a solution if ur dog pisses on it.

i think every year our lawn aquires something new, this year its a light up polar bear that moves his head.

I'm just not into decorating this year. It's just me and my too cats, and they like to play with the tree decorations and stuff. I don't know why, but I'm really not into Christmas this year

Nope, but I always go home for xmas and they usually decorate the inside of the house with some greenery, red candles, and the like. My girl's jewish, so I don't think we'll do much holiday decorating when we eventually get hitched and obtain our residence.

inside: tree, figurines, santa sitting on a chimney waving his candle, pillows, wreath, lighted wraparound pine needle thingy on banister from 1st to 2nd floor. sometimes a trainset but it's a pain in the butt, it smokes and the conductor yells "All Aboard" and the steam whistle sound. It's cute but nothing expensive. plus a bunch of other little thingy's. throughout the downstairs like x-mas napkin holders and candles.

outside:

white lights on the bushes that run from the front porch to around the sides of the house. green lights on the bushes closest to the front door. 3 deer and a tri-colord tree off to the front/side of the house.

A christmas tree and a Santa and Mrs. Claus moving light up thing.

I have a cat and last year she broke all the glass ornaments off of the tree, this year i had to buy new ones so instead of all glass i bought half glass and half plastic ones.

My only advice would be to not line the direct bottom of the tree, start a little upwards and use plastic ornaments(then work your way to the top with the glass ones), so if they knock them off they won't break.

It also helps if you catch them by the tree, spray them with a waterbottle, just look out for outlets.
