I saw the 12:30am showing. Theatre was crowded for that showing. It definitely lived up to expectations. There were some surprises in the movie as well. All in all it was a good sequel

It was a really good movie. I barely remember the 1st one but, this one just seemed a lot better to me. It was A LOT funnier and their was interesting editing and camerawork.
The soundtrack is killer too.
3 out of 4 stars for me.I had to subtract one star because I hate Julia Roberts in EVERYTHING.

I thought it was a real fun film. It wasn't excellent or brilliant by any stretch of the imagination, but it was simply fun to watch. I enjoyed it very much. The only serious problem I had with the movie was the whole Julia Roberts angle, it was way too far. fetched.

Catherine Zeta Jones played a good role in the movie. Plus she totally blows Roberts away in the looks dept

Catherine Zeta Jones is great but I think in a movie that features as many stars as it does, it focuses a bit too much on her. George Clooney and Brad Pitt were great in the movie, wasnt too happy with Matt Damons role in the film, overall a pretty good movie, worth the 10 bucks admission.

I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.

that whole Julia roberts scene was RETARDED. It was still an entertaining movie though.

I think the whole Julia Roberts as Tess as Julia Roberts thing was so over the top.

Review: Ocean's 12
http://www.browntownjohnny.com/index.php
The story was that during the filming of the 1960 Frank-Sammy-Dean "Oceans 11" that they did it as an excuse to hang out in Vegas and live the life on the studio's tab. The Clooney-Pitt-Roberts remake had a small charm and a great cast with a real 'heist' storyline. Director Steven Soderbergh returns to make a disconnected arthouse tribute to French movies about crooks and love and wine....what the fuck? This is not a heist movie! This is an excuse to hang out in Amsterdam and Rome and live the life on the studio's tab. Soderbergh gets to make a cute art flick while everyone just sits around acting like it's the good life (it is..for them ). Even Bruce Willis wanted to get in on the shit (he plays himself), and Catherine Zeta Jones gets the front spot as an Interpol agent in love with Pitt.
I didn't really hate it, but I wanted a movie damn-it! Andy Garcia was so good as the villain, but he just shows up to say "Gimme my money", and Carl Reiner shows up to say "I'm leaving"....and Bernie Mac is thrown in jail through the whole thing......RIPOFF! So we get a whole lot of Jones and Vincent Cassel as a frog master thief and everyone has one big laugh. Am I watching one of those press junkets? (yes, and Julia gets to play Tess as Julia on a press junket, and I did laugh at her). Watch for Eddie Izzard in a small role. Fuck Clooney! Old ass bastard money whore.
