Crue reunion...anyone care?

The 80ies are back.
Tears For Fears. DuranDuran, and now...Motley Crue.
Looks like the boys are releasing YET ANOTHER greatest hits record and touring to support it.

Does anyone really care?

They just did a Greatest Hits tour in 1999 and nobody really cared then. (I went because Cheap Trick was the opening act...KILLER!)
They've already released THREE greatest hits records, and re-released all their albums, AND released boxed sets of all their material and it's safe to say that none of those releases are burning up the charts.
I'll admit...the movie based on their life story ("Motley Crue....The Dirt") will be cool but, isn't it a bit soon for another Reunion/Farewell/Greatest Hits tour?

I used to like The Crue back in the day. They were a lot of fun and all that...
But something aboot this Reunion/Farewell thing seems kinda cheap. They're making it seem like it's been a million years since they've played together.
It's very "packaged" this time around.

Motley just performed two songs on the Video Game Awards and, HOLY SHIT, they fucked it up!

The rhythm geet and backing vocals were on tape and The Crue simply could not keep it together.

I wonder if SpikeTV will cut their performance when they re-air the VGA's. It was a musical bloodbath.

I'd go to a Motley Crue Farewell show if it was a REAL farewell show. One where they play their set, say goodbye, and then pull out .45's and blow their brains all over the stage. That I'd pay big money to see.
