So, its Saturday morning, around 4 to 5 to be exact, and I'm awaken by the telephone ringing ever so loud. I answer the phone with that groggy-early-morning voice "Hello?" and the wanting-to-scam me starts.

This guy, starting off by apologizing for the time difference, says that he is an official from Nigeria and that he needs my hel very bad. Although I was half asleep, I have an excellent memory and knew, right away, tis guy was trying to scam me.

Well, I let him talk his nonsense and I told him to shut up and hung up. Three minutes later, he calls back and tries to introduce himself, and thats when I told him that "I know you're trying to scam me, especially this early in the morning" "I have your phone number *which I did* and I'm going to report you & this phone number to the police right now" and "go f yourself"...

I never got a call back.. it seems that these people are having trouble getting people via email since everyone knows their scam... Has this happened to anyone? If it hasn't, take it as a heads up..

DAMN NIGER...........................IAN

there's a scam that they'll call ya and very leave a very urgent message with you regarding your account or personal business ...

the number turns out to be some sort of off-shore '900' type number that bills yer phone account $25/per minute ...

they tend to target offices and small businesses ...
