Your worst non-recreational sports injury

Today I was playing two-hand touch in front of my house. I went out for a pass, and when I tried to catch it, I fumbled it a bit and threw it up to my left.. When I went to run and catch it before it hit the ground, I tripped forward and my face (right below the nose, but above the teeth. Where the cleft is) hit the side of a car and full speed. I dented the damn car I hit so hard. I fell backwards and prayed that I didn't lose any teeth. I didn't, but my upper lip is very swollen, with a cut on the inside of my gums, and I think my hand is sprained from hitting the car. My hand was covered in some blood. My knee is a little scraped up, but I consider myself pretty lucky that I didn't get badly hurt (or lose my two front teeth).

2 broken fingers playing basketball at the local park.

my good friend was running for a pass while playing football at lunch in 7th grade and ran head first into a pole. 20 stiches and a concussion later he was back in school.

I was chasing a girl on the ice at an ice rink. I went to cross over and my blades were dull. As I put the right foot over the left, the left gave out and I went straight down on my chin. Blood all over my hand and the ice, 6 stitches.

Busted a rib playing basketball (or something like that). That shit hurt like a mother fucker and every time I turned or had to breathe more discomfort.

Then there's always my trick ankle that I sprain on occassion.

i was on a quarter pipe on a skate, and yea that hurt like hell, but it went numb really quick. the shoulder popping out never goes numb and still, do this day, hurts more when it happens then the tailbone

edit:this was also hard considering from skating, boarding, etc, i have a list of about 100 injuries to pick from, broken wrists, elbows, an ankle, my shin, my nose, fingers, collarbone....probably more i cant think of right now, plus the customary nut shot or 2 on a rail

Broke my wrist trying to kick a football with roller blades on. Smooth Keith, smooth.

And when I was younger, I was outside with my friend and my brother and we were shooting pucks at the net. Just fuckin' around. He took a shot and it hit a crack and hit me in the eye. I broke blood vessels so there was blood on my eye. I was admited to the hospital for the weekend.

One day i woke up with a twisted testicle and had to have surgery, worse injury ever and no reason for it at all.

Besides that when my sister broke my nose by ramming it into a wooden chair.

Even thought i played sports throughout all my schooling never experience anything serious.

one time when i played high school baseball i missed the coaches sign to take a pitch (he was coaching 3rd base) and i swung and fouled it off. It was only my 2nd strike but he got so mad he gave the other team the out with only 2 strikes...

edit: I was very hurt!

he didn't like me too much

a couple years later he was playing on the neighborhood Irish football team, and we were the Guido football team. he thought he had a long touchdown down the middle until i came over from the corner position, knocked the ball down and knocked him on his ass

but they wound up winning...

When I was in 3rd grade I was playing basketball in my driveway with my friend. I turned to get the ball and my neighbor was swinging a baseball bat. He swung really hard and hit me in the mouth. I split my lip and my gums, lost 2 teeth and chipped 3 others. I had half my mouth stiched up for a few weeks. It was the most pain I ever felt.

we used to play this game where you would throw a football and try and knock someone off their bike. well the kid was rolling down the street, and i threw it at his bike instead of him. it got lodged in between the frame and the front wheel and he went head first over the bike. his face was all cut up, but he was OK

these are the funniest/most ridiculous things i've ever heard.

i slipped a disc banging my chick. i walked around for about 2 weeks like sombody was pushing me down.

also when i was about 8 i fell out of a tree during a great game of manhunt and got a concussion and my tooth went through my lip. i was scared my mom would kill me so i ran away for 2 days.

-Playing basketball with friends. Me & a friend went up for a rebound. I got the ball , she went up to get it. her fake nail dug into my arm and dug and slashed a 5 inch gash.

-Bloodied nose trying to ride a bike w/o hands

-broke 3 toes and ankle trying to impress a chick by doing BMX stunts (demolished bike)

-hit multiple trees. pain was plenty.

Went riding down a hill on a mountain bike at about 20-30 mph. Had a helmet on, but I was dumb enough to hit the front brakes while standing on the bike. Flew forward about 15 feet. My helmet pulled back and I hit my head on the concrete. My bike did a few frontflips in the air before hitting the curb and destroying the back tire. Very unfun.
